Wellington is a coastal city surrounded by rolling green hills where sheep and mountain goats graze. There are nature reserves, sub-tropical forests and churning rivers. All surprisingly close to the city center. Peter Jackson’s home town and it’s surrounds became the land of the Elves. The Elvin leader Elron, otherwise known as Hugo Weaving says New Zealand truly became Tolkien’s Fantasy World.
