We start off in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, just as summer was unfolding, It was still a little cold. Perfect weather to do some energetic exploring of this sea-front city. Denmark is considered the crossroads of Scandinavia and Europe. It’s actually a mainland peninsula at the top of Europe and 406 islands that are like stepping stones across the straits to Sweden. As we took to the roads heading across North Zeeland, a large island that’s home to Copenhagen, we followed the seashore and ventured into thick forest discovering vivid reminders of Denmark’s rich and royal past
