It’s diverse topography includes small to massive valleys, natural lakes and peaks that are amongst the highest in the world, ranging from 1,000 meters to 8,000 meters.
The region covers around 72,500 sq. km.
Stunning mountainous scenery in Northern Pakistan
Standing at the crossroads of time, Pakistan’s northern areas are shielded by a wall of mountains valleys. Even the old conquering army of Alexander Great was halted by this rugged mountain land. Valley after valley, it’s a vast glacial terrain. Ice over winter, it gradually melts into roaring waterways when the sun ascends.
